The purpose of KIDSTAMP is to promote stamp collecting among young people. KIDSTAMP provides free stamps to youngsters who provide a SASE. (SASE means self-addressed, stamped envelope.)
If you prefer certain kinds of stamps, we will send those whenever possible. We are also able to answer your collecting questions or refer you to someone who may better be able to answer your questions.
KIDSTAMP provides puzzles, games, and activities for young people. These puzzles can be a fun group or individual project. Young collectors who complete the puzzles and send the answers to KIDSTAMP with a SASE will receive a free packet of stamps. We also occasionally sponsor contests for young collectors. If you would like more information about our puzzles or would like to be on our contest mailing list, write to KIDSTAMP at the address below and provide a SASE for your response.
KIDSTAMP does not operate for a profit. We are dependent on donations of materials from other collectors and stamp dealers. In addition to free stamps for young collectors, from time to time, we also have albums, hinges, and collecting kits available. KIDSTAMP does ask a small fee for these items to cover the costs of postage. The available materials will change frequently. Feel free to ask if you are looking for albums or supplies. KIDSTAMP tries to provide these items to kids at the lowest cost possible.
KIDSTAMP offers assistance to adults interested in mentoring stamp collecting clubs for youngsters. Ask for a "Starter Packet" or describe your program so that we can pick materials to meet your group's needs.
